The front of the flag is made of alternating horizontal stripes of royal blue and white satin ribbon sewn together. In the top left corner is a painted fabric Australian blue ensign. The fly bears the triangular blue and white colour patch of the Australian Army Service Corps (AASC) made from sewn together strips of the same ribbon.
