[Still life with Primus stove and can]
Description
Still life scene depicting a Primus stove, enamel can or cup and folded sheet or cloth on a table top. Artist's inscription describes the subject matter as: "No War Museum would be complete without a few Primus Stoves. They are one of the minor miseries of this Great War. They are all bad; one hears of good ones but never sees one. About every two days they go wrong, & one gets another from the Q.M.Store, & it always proves to be as bad as the others."
