Depiction of the window and doorway of an old barn behind the 2nd Australian General Hospital in France. Artist's description: "A typical door and window of an old barn a few minutes walk between 2nd A.G.H. Door & window are painted green. The holes at bottom of door are to admit the cat that imposes on the good nature of Monseiur le Fermien by pretending to catch mice."
