Description
Studio portrait of 6575 Private (Pte) Albert Edward Nicholson, 21st Reinforcements, 8th Battalion, of West Brunswick, Vic. Pte Nicholson enlisted on 11 October 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Nestor in Melbourne on 2 October 1916. On 20 September 1917 he was killed in action in the Menin Road area, Belgium.
