Description
Studio portrait of 2467 Private (Pte) James Teasdale, 5th Reinforcements, 23rd Battalion, of South Traralgon, Vic. Pte Teasdale enlisted on 2 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Osterley on 29 September 1915. He was killed in action on 9 November 1916 and is memorialised at Villers-Bretonneux, France, as he has no known grave.
