Description

Left to right: 2/400030 (NX204932) Private (Pte) Robert (Bob) Parker, Lieutenant Colonel Ferguson's personal dispatch rider, who was captured by the Chinese during the battalion's withdrawal after Kapyong near Cheryong-Ni on 24 April 1951 and held as a prisoner of war (POW) in North Korea until the end of the war; and, 2/1002 Pte Allan (Darkie) Dickens who was later accidentally killed, possibly in a tent fire, on 21 March 1952.
