Portrait of 423760 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Bede James Veitch King, 49 Squadron RAF, RAAF. Flt Sgt King of Wellington, NSW, enlisted on 18 July 1942 and was killed during an air operation over Holland on 16 December 1943, aged 19 years. He is buried in the Weststellingwerf (Wolvega) General Cemetery in the Netherlands.
