Royal Australian Navy baseball style cap : Boarding Officer, HMAS Manoora
Description
Dark blue cotton baseball style cap with machine embroidered Royal Australian Navy badge. The cap is adjusted by a pair of Velcro tabs at the back. The words 'BOARDING OFFICER' are written in black felt pen inside the facing.
History / Summary
Worn by the Boarding Officer on board HMAS Manoora during Operation 'Slipper', the interception by coalition ships of suspected smuggling vessels in the Persian Gulf during 2001-2002.
