One of the unidentified men is VX66803 Sgt Jack Archibald George Shand, later POW, but his position is unknown. The unit base was at a Quarantine Station which had been taken over for the "Z" Special Unit. To hide the unit's true identity, they were referred to as the "Lugger Maintenance Section".
