Mk IV Flexible breathing hose for oxygen mask : RAAF
Description
Mk IV corrugated black rubber flexible breathing hose to suit the British manufactured 'G' or 'H' Type oxygen masks. The hose has a black plastic screw fitting at one end and a brass nozzle stamped 'AM REF. 6D/526 MK. IV.' at the other. The rubber has been passed over the ends of the fittings and then bound on with cotton twine which appears to have been varnished. A large aluminium alligator clip (to retain the free end of the hose when not connected to the oxygen supply) is attached by a circular collar at the nozzle end.
