Description
Studio portrait of 2422 Private (Pte) Ernest Walter Tangey, 5th Reinforcements, 21st Battalion, of Maryborough, Vic. Pte Tangey enlisted on 10 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Osterley on 29 September 1915. He was killed in action on 29 July 1916 at Pozieres, France.
