Studio portrait of 21243 Gunner (Gnr) Arthur Berkeley Long, 36th Battery, 9th Field Artillery Brigade, of Brisbane, Qld. Gnr Long enlisted on 15 January 1916 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Argyllshire on 11 May 1916. He later served as a corporal with the 107th Howitzer Battery and died of wounds on 9 April 1918 at Amiens, France, aged 27 years.
