Description

The Officers' Prison Camp at Hann-Munden on the Weser River. Prior to the war it was an oil factory. About 700 Russian, 400 French and 40 British officers were confined in this camp. It was not a 'strafe' (punishment, hard working) camp and conditions, though bad enough, were decent - by comparison to other German camps.
