Soaked with sweat Private Ken Answer of Leongatha, Vic, patrols through the jungle armed with an M16 automatic rifle and an M79 grenade launcher on Operation Esso. His unit, A Company, 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR), was carrying out a reconnaissance in force of the area in an effort to stop rice reaching Viet Cong (VC) troops in the north of the Province.
