Description
The road to Warminster, at Sutton Veny training camp. The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) hall is in the camp. Taxi cars are permitted to stand for hire. An enormous business is done by these taxis running AIF soldiers to and from Warminster Station going on leave and convalescence. Ford cars are almost exclusively used by the owners of the taxis.
