Description
Studio portrait probably of 2797 Private (Pte) Alexander William Scott, 6th Reinforcements, 21st Battalion, of Hamilton, Vic, aged 28 years. Pte Scott enlisted on 3 August 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboarad HMAT Moldavia on 5 October 1915. He later served as a corporal and died of wounds on 26 August 1916 in France.
