Description
Studio portrait of 2750 Private (Pte) Ernest Frederick North, 6th Reinforcements, 22nd Battalion, of Yarra Glen, Vic. Pte North enlisted on 17 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ulysses on 27 October 1915. He was killed in action on 19 July 1916 at Fleurbaix, France.
