Near Villers-Bretonneux, France. 29 April 1918. The Maison du Bois l'Abbe, near Villers-Bretonneux, on the Amiens Road to France. At this time it was used as a headquarters for support battalions and an Advanced Dressing Station was located in the basement (entrance between the steps). An ambulance can be seen on the right. Identified is the figure on the left (wearing a helmet), Regimental Sergeant Major Harvey, Headquarters 13th Australian Infantry Brigade.
