Description
Acknowledges involvement in various operations around Arras in 1918. Firstly, the honour recognises participation in defensive operations mounted around Arras in the face of the German "Spring Offensives" during late March and early April 1918. Secondly, it recognises involvement in Allied offensive operations on the Western Front, as part of the Second Battle of Arras, directed towards breaking the strongly fortified Hindenburg Line, between 26 August and 3 September 1918.
