An elevation sketch of the German light cruiser SMS Emden with details of the vessel and a summary of her career between August and November 1914, prepared at sea on HMAS Sydney. Among her successful actions Emden sank 10 British merchant ships on two occasions, as well as several steamers, a Russian light cruiser and a French destroyer.
