Half tracked vehicles: part 1care and maintenance of endless-band tracks
Description
United States Army training film TF9-1126 produced for Signal Corps in collaboration with Commanding General, Services of Supply, and co-operation of the B F Goodrich Company. This film illustrates the advantage of a half track vehicle over a wheeled vehicle. Animated diagrams combined with actual photographic visuals show the construction and operation of the track and bogies. Track maintanence is also shown. Commentary supports visuals. Vehicles shown in the film are M3 Halftracks and a 75 mm Gun Motor Carriage M3 self propelled gun.
