Description

A British Tommy handing to a comrade a fish killed from shell bursts by a Turkish gun 'Asiatic Annie' off V Beach, Gallipoli Peninsula. When it was found that shells exploding in the water killed fish, bombs were surreptiously used with the same object. The fish obtained in this way helped to vary the rations which were exceedingly monotonous.
