Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. 28 November 1915. Some of the 2nd Australian Infantry Brigade, which had just arrived from Mudros Rest Camp, had no dugouts to sleep in, and spent the night in these shelters made of waterproof sheets only. The men were none the worse for their experience and were snowballing each other on the following morning.
