Unidentified Australian army Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) working on a .303 rifle in an armoury workshop. The soldier is possibly 3/1924 WO2 E W Silver, British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) Workshops. WO Silver finished 8th in the Elimination Kings Cup, the winner being selected to represent the Army in the King's Cup shoot back in Australia. Note the hand operated grinding stone, drill bits, metal punches and other tools on the workbench.
