Major Sei Hashida's visit / Bill Billett.
Abstract
Major Sei Hashida, an army officer serving on the Imperial Japanese General Staff, visited Australia in 1941 on a two-month visa issued by the British Consul at Tokyo. This was only a few months after Germany, Italy, and Japan signed the Tripartite Pact in September 1940.
