Abstract
Private Alexander Wright VC, one of the first two Victoria Cross recipents to serve in Australia.
He was serving in the 77th Regiment when he awarded the Victoria Cross during the Crimean War and was still in the 77th Regiment when they were sent to Australia for Garrison Duty.
