The author describes how prior to the First World War, Henry John "Harry" Butler had an interest in aviaion and how during the First World War, he was to fly by joining the Australian Flying Corp.
The aurhor highlights the fact that at the time of his death aged 34, Harry Butler was well known through out the Commonwealth as Butler of South Australia".
