Abstract
The author writes about the cruise of the special service squadron which was also known as the World cruise, Empire cruise or "Booze cruise".
This cruise took place between 27 November 1923 and 28 September 1924 and included ships such as HMS Hood, HMS Repulse and the first light cruiser squadron.
