A burning legacy : the 'broken' 8th Division / Joseph Morgan.
Abstract
The 8th Division had a reputation for being a broken division. The 8th fought in Malaya, Singapore and the Islands to the North of Australia. Units of the 8th were taken as Prisoners of War when Singapore fell to the Japanese.
