Note Outline map of the area around the Marble Arch monument, on the Via Balbia (now the Libyan Coastal Highway) near Ras Lanuf, marking the border between Cyrenaica and Tripolitania, in northern Libya. Shows the Mediterranean Sea coastline, pier, scattered populated places, main road and motor tracks, landing ground at Bir el Merduma, telephone line, cemetery, fort, inn, wadis, salt marsh areas, terrain features. Relief shown by hachures. "W.D.R. 1014/2812". "Not to be published". Includes legend. The monument was destroyed in the 1970's.
