Note 5 joined sheets (Port Said, Tina, Qantara, Ballah, Ismailia) from the topographical map series covering the area around the Suez Canal from Port Said south to the Great Bitter Lake, with hand drawn annotations showing battery positions and range marks out to 3000 yards on the eastern side of the Canal at Qantara. Base map sheets show mainly desert and salt lakes, the Canal with coastguard stations, lighthouses and other infrastructure, populated places, some vegetation and terrain features. Relief shown by contours and spot heights. Includes manuscript and base map legends, and index to adjoining sheets.
