Black Hawk helicopter accident - 12 June 1996 / Sir William Deane.
Abstract
In this article the author describes the events leading up to the Black Hawk helicopter accident in June 1996. In this accident 17 members of the Australian SAS died and three were awarded the Bravery Medal and two awarded the Commendation for Brave Conduct.
