Abstract

In this article the author describes the participation of the French in the Dardanelles campaign. The French landed at Kum Kale on the Asiatic shore at the mouth of the Dardanelles. This was put forward by the author as being the more successful operation on the 25th April 1915. The French forces were made up of colonial units due to the resistance to remove any troops from the Western Front.
