The outsider as insider / by Andy Simpson.
Abstract
In this article the author writes about the military career of John Monash. He talks about the military successes that John Monash enjoyed as well as the back lash he received. The author comments on the treatment Monash received from both Murdoch and Bean concerning his suitability to command Australian forces. The author concludes by stating that by the end of the war, Monash had earned the right to ride at the head of his men in the victory parade.
