Kelso Field rising / Ray Holyoak.
Abstract
In this article the author describes how in May 1942, African American soldiers based in Kelso Field took part in a riot caused by a death of one of their colleagues. The author goes on to describe how Congressman Lyndon Baines Johnson was sent to investigate the riot. The author concludes that what had previously been a rumour was proven to be true.
