Abstract
IN this article the author describes the Australian base set up at Milne Bay known as the Milne Bay Sub Base Area. The author describes how it was not a safe place to work with the land mines which were left over from the Battle of Milne Bay. The author goes on to describe the effects to stave off boredom by having a radio station and a cinema set up on base.
