Note	Task Group Taji 8 served as part of Operation Okra and was stationed at Taji Military Complex, Northern Baghdad, Iraq between November 2018 and July 2019. The Task Group provided essential training to the Iraqi Security Forces in order to allow them to secure and stabilise Iraq against the forces of Da'esh. The book displays full page colour photographs taken throughout the tour and captures the collective experience of an ANZAC force on deployment. The Task Group was made up of approximately 340 Australi an (approx. 250) and New Zealand (approx. 90) military and civilian supporting personnel. Task Group Taji VIII deployed to Iraq in November 2018 in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve. Over the next seven months the Task Group successfully undertook its mission. This is their story.
