Abstract
In this article the author describes how war trophies are ubiquitous yet often overlooked by casual observers. The author goes on to describe the war trophies in Australia that were captured during the Crimean War. The author also describes how these trophies were tried to be returned to Russia starting in 1917 and even as late as 2021 when a petition had been started on change.org.
