The missing Lone Pine VC / Robert Courtney.
Abstract
Six of the 7 VCs won by Australians at Lone Pine are on display in Hall of Valour in the Australian War Memorail, the 7th which was presented to the widow of Captain Alfred John Shout, had never been displayed in public.
In 2006 the Shout VC went up for auction , It was bought by Kerry Stokes and was donated to the Australian War Memorial.
