Jesi, Italy. c. September 1944. Since No. 3 (Mustang) Squadron RAAF switched from Curtiss P40 Kittyhawks to North American P51 Mustangs, they have been carrying out long range raids over Yugoslavia in support of Tito's partisan troops, as well as continuing to blast enemy strongpoints on the northern front in Italy.
