Western Desert, North Africa. 4 February 1942. This Greek flight commander made a 10 pound wager that he will bring down the first Hun for the Royal Hellenic Air Force. Previously flying night bombers and before that navy co-operation aircraft he is off to the battle zone with his dog on his shoulder.
