Western Desert, Egypt. 9 November 1942. Enemy aircraft abandoned on an airfield in the Fuka area. Some of them were damaged by Allied fighter aircraft and bomber aircraft in the terrific onslaught from the air which preceded the offensive and was continued while the land forces swept forward.
