A cross, palm leaves and rocks mark the grave in the Alamein Memorial, Column 246, of 407123 Sergeant Frank Herbert Lewis RAAF, of No. 38 Squadron RAF, who died 20 November 1941. He was the son of Herbert William and May Lewis of Ashford, South Africa. The Alamein Memorial is situated in El Alamein War Cemetery.
