During the winter months in Korea, the soil is frozen too solid to dig, so it is during these months whilst waiting for the thaw, that members of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), carry out line maintenance and general cleaning up of the Kansas Line positions already established.
