Vung Tau, South Vietnam. 1968. The construction site of the swimming pool (later named the Harold Holt Memorial Swimming Pool) located next to the Peter Badcoe Club (at right) at the Australian Logistic Support Group (1ALSG) base at Back Beach. The Club was named after Major Peter Badcoe who was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross (VC) for several courageous actions in Vietnam.
