31 page manuscript. provides a brief history of the service of the Royal Australian Regiment during the Korean War. Details the origins of the conflict, and of Australia's land forces involvement in the war. The Manuscript run chronologically from the start of the war, through to the cease fire. The battles of Yongyu, Pakchon, Kapyong, Maryang-San and the Samichon river are detailed. Details are also provided relating to the nature of patrol actions and the general nature of service in the Korean War for the Australian Infantryman. Published by the Royal Australian Regiment Association (South Australia) with the assistance of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Three copies of the Manuscript.
