The aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne sails from Manila Bay to participate in SEATO Exercise Sea Horse being held in the South China Sea. A set of three Wessex anti-submarine helicopters commence surveillance patrols to protect the convoy which is en route from Manila to Bangkok.
