Sapper Francis Edward Seinor
Description
NX54004 Sapper Francis Edward ‘Frank’ Seinor enlisted in the Second Australian Imperial Force on 10 July 1940 in Paddington, New South Wales. Sapper Seinor served with the 2/12 Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers in Malaya. On 15 February 1942 he was taken by the Japanese as a prisoner of war, and interned at Changi camp. During his time as a prisoner of war he worked on the Burma Thailand Railway. After his liberation he returned to Australia in September 1945. Sapper Seinor was discharged 30 November 1945.
