Description
Sapper George Wedgewood Weaver (46183, Mining Reinforcements) was born in Townsville, QLD on 17 February 1900. He was a horse driver before enlisting in June 1916. George became ill while in the army camp at Seymour, Victoria, and later died in the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, on 18 July 1916, aged 16 years 5 months. He is buried in the Sandgate General Cemetery, Newcastle, NSW.
