Private Henry William Butler
Description
Private Henry William Butler (Depot, 22nd Battalion) was born in 1898 at Preston, Victoria, and was a farmer before enlisting in June 1915. Henry died of meningitis at the General Hospital, St Kilda Road, Melbourne on 14 July 1915 and was buried in Coburg General Cemetery, Coburg, Victoria. His mother later wrote he was 17 years of age.
